this table lamp is part of the collection we designed for Phantomhands,
the amazing artisan collective in Bangalore, India.
the base is made with with up-cycled teak blocks. Each block is handshaped and polished by hand prior to assembly, making it a labour and skill intensive process.
the lamp shade is made with hand-spun khadi silk and lined with khadi cotton.
materials: teak wood (tectona grandis), khadi silk and brass components.
also available in a matt black finish.
