geometric silk composition

Unique textile artwork composed from handwoven silk, built from individually dyed textile pieces.

Each section is treated separately and carefully assembled by hand, creating a layered abstract composition defined by geometry, texture and subtle tonal variation. The silk is stretched over an aluminium artist frame and finished with a thin darkened hardwood box frame.
